The Sussex Business Awards are organised by Platinum Event Management, a division of The Platinum Publishing Group, publishers of the leading business magazines in the UK.
Celebrating 31 years in 2019, the Awards are the most sought-after accolade by organisations from every sector in the region.
There are fifteen trophies to be won with awards for all-round excellence, as well as for those businesses demonstrating special strengths in areas such as innovation, customer service, professional services and tourism.
Businesses can enter up to three categories and deadline for submissions is September 11th. Winners will be announced at The Grand Brighton on December 5th.
The judging panel consists of representatives from category sponsors and industry professionals including HSBC, Allied Irish Bank, University of Sussex Business School, Sussex Innovation Centre, One Research, Peopleforce Technical Recruitment, LMS Group, Vantage Professional Risks, Platinum Publishing Group, Global and The Gemini Print Group.
For the sixth year, Mike Herd, the executive director of Sussex Innovation Centre (and the Sussex Businessperson of the Year 2000), will be taking his place as Chairman of the Judges.
Whatever the outcome – win, lose or draw – the process of preparing an awards entry is a valuable exercise, allowing you and your team to consider your work and its impacts in detail and take pride in a job well done. In addition, the potential exposure gained from a nominated or winning award entry could bring you to the attention of new clients, new collaborators and new projects that may become future award entries of their own.
